Introduction

FORMAT and RULES

This event will be governed by the Curling Canada General Rules of play, except as are modified by the Club Managers Association at the time of competition.

·        Participating teams are determined through any process necessary at that Curling Club.  In the event a Club does not have a particular division and still wishes to submit a team in compliance of that division, the Club Manager shall select the team.  It is the understanding that the team sent in by the Club Manager is the team to participate, without question.

·       All events/divisions are single knock out format

·        All players must be at least 18 years of age by March 1 of the year of event.

·        In the Seniors Division, players must be at least 50 years of age by March 1 of the year of the event.

·        Teams will declare a 4-person roster prior to the event.

Any player not declared on the submitted roster is considered a spare, and must play Lead or Second, and may not throw last stones. It is in the spirit of the game that spares will be from the club the team is representing.

·       Participants are permitted to curl with a delivery aid (if such was approved for their club play)

·       NO PLAYER MAY BE REGISTERED ON MORE THAN ONE TEAM and may not play on one team in the Championships and spare on another team either in the same event or division or in a different division or event.

·        The host club will decide the following:

-         If a buzzer system will be used and how long it will be
