The Association holds a golf tournament every spring (late May, weather permitting). The
proceeds are given to a designated charity. Each year a new charity is selected with the only
criteria being that it is a charity that doesn't get the massive support of the mainstream. It is
not about the prizes; its about caring!
All curling clubs are invited to participate. Most use this as an opportunity to reward either
their Executive, Staff or dedicated volunteers. Many clubs pay the entry fee and
provide a minor prize for each golfer it enters. Typically, there are around 40
entered. Individual entries will also be accepted (as long as a prize is included).
Please note that foursomes will be established from the entries; not necessarily from the same
Club. Golf expertise is not a requirement!
