The Curling Center at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre offers six sheets of ice, available late-September through March-early-April. The Curling Centre at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre runs a variety of Adult Learn to Curl programs to kick off each season and is also home to various curling leagues and programs of the Cochrane Curling Club during the curling season.
Cochrane Curling Club: The Cochrane Curling Club offers a variety of Adult Leagues (women’s, men’s, mixed, mixed doubles, open) in the evenings, Monday – Friday. In addition to these leagues, the CCC offers a wonderful Junior Curling program on Sunday afternoons to introduce and engage our youth in the great sport of curling. The Cochrane Curling Club started a new daytime competitive league on Monday afternoons at 1pm for teams of all ages and formats (men’s, women’s, mixed, open, senior, etc.), this league is broken into a fall and winter season where teams can register for 1 or both. Cochrane Senior Curling leagues: The Cochrane Curling Club offers a variety of Senior Daytime Curling Leagues for our curlers aged 50+. These leagues run Monday-Friday at 10am. There are Senior Men, Senior Mixed/Open, and Old Timers (open) to choose from. All daytime leagues try to balance out their teams with a mix of new and experienced curlers to create an enjoyable and social atmosphere.
